Navy Getaways Stewart Campground is tucked away off of Wilderness Road, located in an area surrounded by trees that create a circle around the park. It is the perfect place for quiet, rest and relaxation. The North Carolina Outer Banks are less than 20 miles away. The Hampton Roads area provides historical landmarks, performing arts, beautiful beaches, shopping, and some of the finest seafood restaurants in the area. Busch Gardens, Kings Dominion, and Ocean Breeze Water Park are nearby.

Maximum stay: 180 days. May submit a request to extend but may not exceed a total of 365 from first check in date.

Pets: Pets are allowed however must remain on leash during your stay. Pets may not be locked up outside at any time.

Sponsored guest restrictions: Sponsor must have a valid DOD ID card and remain with their civilian guests at all times.

Foreign Nationals: Please contact Pass & ID office at (757) 421-8123 prior to arrival to obtain vetting process. US military member or DoD civilian is required to accompany any Foreign National for the duration of their stay.

Reservation Policy Notes:
- Same day reservations are booked by calling the site.
- Please check in at the Mariner Community Recreation Center at 237 Relay Road, Chesapeake, VA 23322 before going to the campground. This is the large building on the left “before” going through the gate.
- Please note that the Swimming pool is seasonal
